Recipe Ingredients for Chunky Apple Muffins

2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.25 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
2 tsp Vanilla Extract, Imitation, No Alcohol
1 large Egg, Whole
1 medium apple Apples

Recipe Directions for Chunky Apple Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If using a flax or chia egg, mix together and set aside. Line a muffin tin with paper or silicone cups and set aside.

  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together apriva, applesauce, vanilla and egg.

  4. Add wet mixture to flour mixture and mix until fully moistened.

  5. Fold in chopped apples.

  6. Spoon batter into muffin tin, dividing batter evenly between all 12 cups.

  7. Bake for 25-27 minutes, until muffins are set and golden brown. Allow muffins to cool in pan for 30 minutes before serving.
