Recipe Ingredients for Chunky Almond-butter Granola Bars

4.5 cup dry Oats, Rolled, Thick
0.75 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
0.33 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 tsp Baking Soda
0.75 cup Butter
0.33 cup Almond Butter, Plain
0.33 cup Brown Rice Syrup
0.33 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
12 oz Semi-Sweet Mini Morsels

Recipe Directions for Chunky Almond-butter Granola Bars

Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar and baking soda together. Add the butter, almond butter, brown rice syrup, honey and vanilla and mix until well incorporated. Add the chocolate chips or raisins. Press the mixture evenly into the pan and bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes and then cut into 12 equal pieces. Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week or frozen for 3 months.
