12 ounces beef stew meat
2 cups corn
6 red potatoes
2 cups sliced carrots
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Christy's homemade Beef Stew

  1. 1. Boil Beef and Onion in 8 cups of water until beef is tender.

  2. 2. Add remaining ingredients, just pour entire can or bag of vegetables into pot. If frozen vegetables are used, more water will need to be added.

  3. 3. After stew has simmered for 1 hour, pour off all liquid and add 8 cups fresh water.

  4. 4. Simmer until mixture thickens.
