Recipe Ingredients for Christmas Crack (Lynne's recipe w/my extras)

40 saltine crackers
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Christmas Crack (Lynne's recipe w/my extras)

Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil so that it is higher than the sides of the pan. Spread saltines in five rows of eight. Melt butter and add sugar. Cook at full boil for three minutes. Pour over crackers and bake in a 400 degree oven for five minutes. Sprinkle chips over crackers and when melted, spread evenly across pan. Sprinkle on nuts and refrigerate for two hours. Break or cut apart into pieces and store in an air-tight container in refrigerator until ready to serve.
