Most of the time, tuna salad is prepared by mixing all the ingredients together. Mine is different. I prefer to mix an entire can of tuna (albacore is the best) with the mayonnaise, and refrigerate it for later use. Then depending upon my mood, I add as much or as little sweet relish and horseradish as I want. It's a very satisfying recipe when you're trying to lose weight because the condiments have very little calories so adding a little more or less doesn't matter. Watch the mayo, though! Horseradish goes great with tuna, and the sweetness of the relish cuts the heat. Goes great with a glass of milk.

Recipe Ingredients for Christine's Tuna Sandwich

2 oz. Albacore tuna
2 slices whole wheat bread
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp Horseradish, Prepared

Recipe Directions for Christine's Tuna Sandwich

Mix Albacore tuna and mayonnaise. Spread horseradish on one slice of bread. Put tuna mixture on bread, add sweet relish on top.
