Recipe Ingredients for Chris's Chocolate chip cookies with walnuts

1 1/3 cups vegetable shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Chris's Chocolate chip cookies with walnuts

  1. Mix the shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.

  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients

  3. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (use parchment paper to keep from sticking)

  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 mins.

  5. Cool on racks.
