Same as cabbage rolls, except cabbage is chopped up before cooking. One pot meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Chopped Cabbage Rolls

4 cups cabbage, chopped
1 cup rice
1 lb ground beef, browned
14 oz chopped tomatoes
30 oz tomato soup
1 cup water
1 medium onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Chopped Cabbage Rolls

  1. Brown and crumble ground beef. Add onion to beef and saute in drippings. Drain. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and cook on low for 1 to 1/12 hours until cabbage is tender.

  2. This recipe works well with either brown or white rice. Brown rice holds up better to the longer cooking time.
