From Lauren's Cookbook. 1 Serving is approx .75 c

Recipe Ingredients for Chop Suey

1 lb pork tenderloin, cut in strips
1/4 c margarine
3 medium onions, chopped
1 1/2 c water
1 c bean sprouts
1/2 tsp accent
2 c celery, sliced
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup waterchestnuts

Recipe Directions for Chop Suey

  1. Brown pork

  2. Add onions and let brown.

  3. Add celery, water, liquid from bean sprouts and MSG.

  4. Simmer until pork is tender.

  5. Thicken with cornstarch.

  6. Add soy sauce and bean sprouts.

  7. Bring to a boil. Let sit before serving.

  8. Serve with rice.
