(cholent ) Traditional Jewish one-pot meal

Recipe Ingredients for Cholent

3 lb chicken
2 cups dry pinto beans
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cups Wheat, Soft White
8 potatoes
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp taco seasoning
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp chicken bouillon
2 quarts water

Recipe Directions for Cholent

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into chunks.

  2. Peel onion and garlic,

  3. Add all ingredients to a crockpot.

  4. Cook on low overnight; serve next day.
