Recipe Ingredients for Chole Saag

3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp curry powder
15 oz can sweet peas, drained
15 1/2 oz can garbanzo beans, drained
8 oz frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
8 oz nonfat plain yogurt
1 c chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Chole Saag

  1. Stir fry garlic, onion, pepper, cumin, and curry powder for 5 minutes.

  2. Add sweet peas and mash.

  3. Stir in beans, spinach, yogurt, and chicken broth. Heat through.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.
