Makes 12 servings



Individual chocolate tarts. Can be made w/any fruit jam, but I like orange.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate tartlets

1 cup graham-cracker crumbs
3 tbsp butter, melted
1/6 cup marmalade
12 tsp marmalade
3/8 cup whipping cream
3 oz. semisweet chocolate
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Recipe Directions for Chocolate tartlets

  1. Crust:

  2. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  3. Line muffin pan with 12 liners.

  4. Combine graham-cracker crumbs, butter, and 1/6 cup marmalade.

  5. Press crumb mixture into the bottom of each muffin liner, using ~1 tbsp filling.

  6. Bake for 5-7 min, until just lightly browned.

  7. Thinly spread ~1 tsp marmalade over each tartlet crust.

  8. Set aside.

  9. Filling:

  10. Cream in a small saucepan or double boiler until just simmering.

  11. Stir in the chocolate, cloves, and (if desired) 1 oz orange liqueur.

  12. Let mixture cool lightly.

  13. Spoon into muffin cups, dividing the chocolate mixture evenly.

  14. If desired, top each tartlet with fruit.

  15. Chill ~2 hours (or overnight) before serving
