Rich, delectable and down right awesome. You could use vodka or coffee liquor or anything else instead of rum.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Sorbet

1/2 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1 cup Xylitol
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 fl.oz Espresso Shot
1 T. Gin, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/8 tsp cinnamon, ground
1/8 tsp sea salt

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Sorbet

  1. Mix everything but the liquor in a saucepan and heat over medium low until everything is dissolved and silky. Take off the heat and add liquor.

  2. Freeze in ice cream maker as directed or put in a metal bowl in the freezer. Let stand for about 2 hours and then mix. Mix again once an hour until soft frozen. Put in a plastic container for freezer storage. Enjoy!
