Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate River Bars

8 tbsp Salted Butter
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1.25 cup Robin Hood All Purpose Unbleached Flour
0.5 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Sea Salt
6 oz The Decadent Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Recipe Directions for Chocolate River Bars

Heat oven to 350F. Grease 13x9x2 baking pan. Beat butter in large mixing bowl until softened. Add sugars and beat till fluffy. Add egg and extract. Beat well. In medium mixing bowl stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. With mixer on low speed gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating till well mixed. Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top of batter. Place in 350F oven about 2 minutes or just till chocolate pieces soften. Remove pan from oven. With a table knife, swirl melted chocolate into the batter. Return pan to oven. Bake 12-15 minutes more (convection oven 8-9 minutes) or till golden. Cool in pan on a cooling rack. Cut into bars.
