A more substantial protein bar, great for putting back lost glycogen after a hard workout. Rich in protein, complex carbs, and a good source of fiber.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Protein Bars

3 cups quick oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup powdered milk
6 scoops whey protein powder
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup toasted walnuts
1/3 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup corn syrup

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Protein Bars

Grind oats in food processor till fine. Add other dry ingredients and pulse. Add peanut butter and walnuts and flax seed. Pulse. Drizzle corn syrup through top while food processor runs. Add chocolate chips. Press into pan and cut into bars. Wrap in waxed paper, tape, and freeze. Grab one on the way out to the gym.
