Lightly sweetened, chocolate pound cake.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate pound cake

3 cup Flour, All Purpose
0.5 cup Shortening
16 tsp Becel Regular Margarine
0.5 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
3 cup Sugars, Granulated
5 large Egg, White
1.25 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Chocolate pound cake

Cream margarine and shortening together. Add sugar slowly until completely incorporated. Mix in one egg at a time, until all eggs are incorporated. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa and salt (3 times), and then alternate adding some of the dry mixture and the milk to the margarine, sugar and shortening mixture. Once the dry and wet are combined, add the vanilla, and pour into a greased, floured tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
