Makes 24 servings



Chocolate and Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies. A recipe I found on the web that is loaded with saturated fat if you eat more than one. I used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter pseudo-margerine sticks.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies

3 cups Rolled Oats
2/3 cups Peanut Butter
2 cups White Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Skim Milk
1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
2 tsp. Vanilla

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies

  1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper or foil. Measure the oats and peanut butter. Set aside.

  2. Combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

  3. Remove from heat. Add oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir quickly. Mix well.

  4. Immediately drop mixture by heaping teaspoon onto wax paper. Cool. Store in a cool, dry place.
