Vegan healthy but junky chocolatey muffins

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Oatmeal Muffins

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup rolled oats
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup water
1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
1 banana, mashed
2 tablespoons margarine

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Oatmeal Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

  2. Sift/stir together dry ingredients in large bowl.

  3. Cream banana, applesauce and margarine together. Stir in water until even.

  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir with spatula until well combined.

  5. Spoon into non-stick or sprayed or paper-lined muffin tins.

  6. Bake for about 35 minutes.
