Recipe Ingredients for chocolate health souffles

1/4 cup 100% Natural Steel Cut Oats (dry)
1 ounce Cacao Powder
6 tbsp Honey
1/4 cup Organics Green Lentils Dry
90 g dry barley
1/2 cup flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp treacle
4 tbsp Original Raw Chia Seeds

Recipe Directions for chocolate health souffles

  1. cook barley lentils and oats as directed until extremely soft

  2. add treacle, honey, salt, and allow cool to room temperature.

  3. mix egg thoroughly into oat mixture. sprinkle chia seeds over surface 1 tbsp at a time, then stir them in slowly with a butter knife or chopstick, taking care to avoid that they lump together.

  4. sift together flour, baking powder, , cacao, and baking soda.

  5. fold into wet mixture with spatula so just blended. some floury chucks may remain. that is fine. do not over mix.

  6. preheat oven to 400 F. grease a 12 muffin tin and dust with flower or cocoa powder.

  7. bake for 20 minutes. place on stove to cool. allow to cool completely then refrigerate for nice portable snack. they will be moist and slightly gummy in texture.
