Recipe Ingredients for chocolate granola

3 c rolled oats
1/2 c almonds
1/2 c shredded coconut
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 pinch salt
6 tbsp honey
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 c chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for chocolate granola

  1. preheat oven to 300

  2. combine oats, almonds, coconut, sugar, salt in a large bowl. stir to blend.

  3. warm the honey & oil over low heat, stirring occasionally.

  4. pour over dry ingredients & stir to combine well.

  5. spread mixture evenly on a rimmed baking sheet. bake for 20 min or until golden. stir halfway through.

  6. remove pan from oven, stir well and cool completely

  7. transfer granola to storage container and add chocolate.

  8. store in airtight container.
