Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Espresso Power Bars

80 grams Unsalted Cashews, Urtekram
20 grams Almonds
11 grams Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (Rexim)
2 tsp dry Coffee, Instant, Regular, Powder
83 grams Dates, Domestic, Natural And Dry
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract, Imitation, No Alcohol

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Espresso Power Bars

  1. Blend nuts, cacao (or carob powder) and espresso in food processor until finely ground.

  2. Add pitted dates and process until blended into dry ingredients.

  3. Process in vanilla and your chosen sweetener.

  4. Press mixture into an 8x8 inch Pyrex baking dish, add a little water if your batter is crumbly when handling.

  5. Freeze for 2 hours, then cut into squares (or alternatively form in to bars or small balls for one bite truffles!)
