from Weight Watchers cookbook... changed to egg beaters and I can't believe butter, switched 1/2 reg. flour for whole wheat

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Espresso Biscotti

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 1/2 tbls ground coffee
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup egg beaters
3 tbls brewed coffee
1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Espresso Biscotti

  1. heat oven 350F

  2. spray baking sheet with non stick spray

  3. combine all dry in one bowl

  4. in mixer combine all wet then add dry

  5. mix on low until well mixed, will form a dry dough ball

  6. divide dough in two

  7. on floured suface, use hands to form each half into a log about 15 inched long by 1 3/4 inches wide by 1 inch high

  8. transfer to baking sheet, pat down the tops till each one is about 3/4 inches high and 2 inches wide

  9. Bake 20 - 25 minutes, til tooth pick comes out clean

  10. moved to cutting board, let cool 10 minutes, then cut with serrated knife crossways into 1/2 inch slices, arrange back on baking pan, lower over to 300F. bake for 12 minutes per side, turning once.
