Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Date Nut Bars

190 grams Medjool Dates
0.5 cup, whole Almonds
0.5 cup, whole Hazelnuts Or Filberts
4 oz Excellence 90% Cocoa Supreme Dark Chocolate
1 tbsp Hulled Hemp Seed
1 tbsp Chia Seed

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Date Nut Bars

  1. 1. In a food processor pulse dates until well chopped. Add almonds and hazelnuts and pulse until blended.

  2. 2. melt chocolate almost completely in a double boiler. Pour into date mixture and pulse a few times until combined.

  3. 3. Scrape mixture onto a cutting board and form into a rectangle. Mold into 8 equal pieces.

  4. 4. Press bars gently into seeds to coat.

  5. 5. refrigerate for 1 hour.

  6. 6. Once firm, bars may be individually wrapped.
