Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate, Date & Almond Cookies

110 g dates
50 g cocoa powder
110 g almonds, ground
110 g soya flour
1 t baking powder
50 g toasted almonds, chopped
1 green apple, juiced
1 t vanilla essence

Recipe Directions for Chocolate, Date & Almond Cookies

  1. cover dates in boiled water and cook until soft. Puree them in a blender.

  2. While they are cooking, mix together dry ingredients. When the date puree is ready combine it with the dry ingredients and add the apple juice and vanilla.

  3. Pinch into 20 equal sized cookies, rolling in the palm of the hand and flatten on a baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes in a 180 degree oven. Watch them closely, they burn quickly
