1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn syrup or maple syrup
4 cups oats or buckwheat flakes
1 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Chip Granola Bars Gluten Free

  1. Directions:

  2. Mix syrup, the two sugars and butter in a cooking vessel. Heat to melt the ingredients. Then combine the buckwheat flakes or oats, coconut, nuts and chocolate chips or dried fruit and add to the mixture. Stir it well.

  3. Place the mixture on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven about 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
