Toll House Recipe w/o nuts, less sugar than toll house recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup Butter
0.5 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
2 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
8 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees f. Cream Butter (room tempurature) with brown and white sugar until fully intergrated. Add Vanilla and eggs, blend until creamy. in a seperate bowl combine flour salt and soda and mix with a fork. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix just untill incorperated. Add chocolate chips and fold in.

  2. drop by rounded spoon onto non greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

  3. To keep my family from eating the whole batch of cookies in one sitting I only make the first sheet the night I make the cookie dough. Instead I get two quart sized ziplock bags and after putting the cookies in the oven I fold over the ziplock bag so it's easier to spoon the remaining cookie dough evenly into the bags. I squeeze out as much air as I can, seal the bags and flatten as best as I can. This way the dough is in one even rectangle, then I freeze this.

  4. To bake the frozen dough; cut off ziplock back and use a long knife to divide into squares and cook at 375 degrees, no need to defrost; just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
