Substitute chick peas and soy milk for butter!

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Chip/Chick Pea Cookies

15 oz. chick peas
1/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup white flour
2 cups quick oats
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Chip/Chick Pea Cookies

  1. Drain and rinse chick peas.

  2. Mix in food processor with soy milk, natural peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg whites.

  3. Mix dry ingredients into above ingredients in bowl. Add choco chips and walnuts.

  4. Bake 350 degrees for 10 - 11 minutes on sprayed cookie sheet.
