Not at home and in need of a snack and you just don't like fast food? Or just in need of a low-cal snack to satiate yourself in between meals? These bars are perfect for you.

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate chip bars

1/3 cup Agave Nectar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
2 c. quick oats
1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. flax seed
3 g Vanilla Beans
20 g raw almonds
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-Sweet

Recipe Directions for Chocolate chip bars

  1. Mix agave, applesauce, and maple syrup until well blended.

  2. In another bowl, combine the quick oats, whole wheat pastry flour, baking soda and sea salt.

  3. Gradually add dry mix to wet mix; blend well. Batter should be thick.

  4. Stir in chocolate chips.

  5. Coat a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, then spread the mixture into the pan.

  6. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until edges start to turn a darker brown.

  7. Pull it off from the sides of pan.

  8. Cool completely, cut into 18 bars. One bar is one serving.

  9. Lasts three days in airtight container, or longer if frozen.
