Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 (large) eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 (medium) bananas

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C) and prepare 12 muffin cups.

  2. In a large bowl mix together the first 3 ingredients.

  3. Stir in chocolate chips.

  4. In a separate bowl cream together butter and sugar with an electric mixer.

  5. Beat in eggs one at a time.

  6. Mash the bananas and add bananas and vanilla to the moist mixture. You want just over a cup of mashed banana.

  7. Add the moist mixture to the dry mixture all at once. Stir until batter is moist but still lumpy.

  8. Fill 12 muffin cups 3/4 full of batter.

  9. Bake 25 minutes.
