Recipe Ingredients for chocolate buttermilk bread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for chocolate buttermilk bread

  1. cream butter and sugar

  2. add eggs one at a time

  3. add buttermilk and set aside

  4. mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl

  5. slowly add dry to wet, and mix until moistened

  6. pour into 9x5 loaf pan that is greased ONLY on the bottom, and bake at 350 for 55-65 mins.
