Recipe Ingredients for chocolate brownies

6 oz butter
2 1/2 oz flour
1/8 tsp salt
6 oz dark chocolate
3 eggs
8 oz sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 oz walnuts

Recipe Directions for chocolate brownies

  1. preheat oven to 300F, 150C. Line 8" square pan with foil and brush with melted butter

  2. Whisk flour and salt together.

  3. Gently melt butter and chocolate together in bowl over simmering water or 'low' in microwave. Stir occasionally.

  4. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick and pale yellow. Add melted chocolate/butter and vanilla. Beat on slow speed until smooth then add dry ingredients, finishing by hand and adding the nuts

  5. Pour into prepared tin and bake for about 50 minutes, until top is dry

  6. Allow to cool in tin, then cut into 16.
