These brownies are amazing, I have the tiniest bit, which is the serving size I've put here, but other people, like my bf for example, eat a lot more. Worth it for special occasions!

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Brownies - best ever!

400 g dark chocolate (at least 55 per cent cocoa solids)
325 g unsalted butter
6 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
300 g caster sugar
50 g cocoa powder
80 g plain flour
150 g almonds
100 g milk chocolate

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Brownies - best ever!

  1. Heat oven to 180 (fan)

  2. Melt chocolate & butter in a heat proof bowl over boiling water until smooth, then leave to cool while doing the next part.

  3. Whisk eggs, egg yolks and sugar together until pale.

  4. Fold chocolate mix into eggs.

  5. Sieve cocoa powder with plain flour then fold everything together.

  6. Gently mix in the almonds (crushed) and milk chocolate (broken up into small pieces).

  7. Pour into 20cm square baking tin and bake for 20-30 minutes.

  8. Leave to completely cool in the tin and then place in the fridge to give the cake a chance to stick together. If taken straight out of the pan it may be slightly too gooey inside.
