A lovely gluten-free chocolate cake - made with kidney beans!

Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Bean Cake

420 g kidney beans, canned drained
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
70 g unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
125 g baking margarine
5 eggs
100 g dark brown sugar
100 g honey

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Bean Cake

  1. Blend the liquid ingredients together with the kidney beans until smooth.

  2. Beat butter and sugar in a separate bowl, then add to the blended mixture, and blend until combined.

  3. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, then add the liquid to it, gradually, folding until combined.

  4. Bake in fairy cake cases for 20mins at 180c.
