Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Banana Protein Bars

2 1/2 c Quaker quick Oats
2 tbsp Almond Butter
3 egg whites
2 medium bananas
1 tbsp Honey
1/4 c Skim Milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Banana Protein Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. I use food processor with a blade. It turns the rolled oats into flour.

  3. Mix the oats, whey protein powder and cinnamon.

  4. Add the almond butter and mix thoroughly.

  5. Add the egg whites, mashed bananas and honey.

  6. Mix well and slowly add the skim milk.

  7. Once mixed spoon or pour into a greased or parchment lined 9 x 9" cake pan.

  8. Smooth with a knife.

  9. Bake for 15 or 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  10. Cut into 8 bars when cooled.

  11. I wrap individual bars in saran wrap and store in a ziplock bag in the refridgerator. Good snack for on the road or after your workout.
