Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Banana Muffin

3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
3/4 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 large Egg, Whole
0.33 cup Original Classic Flavors
1/2 cup whole-wheat Flour
1/2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup Baking Morsels

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Banana Muffin

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and position rack in the center. Line muffin tin with baking cups and set it aside.

  2. Mash bananas with a fork or potato masher then mix in sugar, egg, and applesauce. Sift flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder over the banana mixture. Combine with rubber spatula. Fold in chocolate and peanut butter chips. Divide batter into muffin cups and bake for about 20 minutes. Can be stored in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
