Recipe Ingredients for Chocolate Almond Cranberry Biscotti

2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
1/2 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 stick Butter
1/2 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
1 large Egg, Whole
3/4 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Craisins, Sweetened Dried Cranberries
6 serving Baking Chocolate Semi Sweet
1/2 cup, whole Almonds

Recipe Directions for Chocolate Almond Cranberry Biscotti

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Beat softened butter, honey, vanilla, and eggs (one at a time) until smooth and set aside.

  3. Mix dry ingredients--flour, salt, cocoa powder.

  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet, just until flour disappears.

  5. Add craisins, chocolate, and almonds and mix.

  6. Form two logs and bake for ~25 minutes.

  7. Remove logs, reduce oven temp to 320 degrees, and leg logs cool about ten minutes.

  8. Slice logs, arrange on baking sheet and bake on eat cut side for about 10 minutes.
