Sweet twist on original Australian Damper bread. Original measurements: Flour: 2 cups Milk: 150ml Juice: 100ml Chocolate: 1 cup Brown sugar: 2 Tbsp

Recipe Ingredients for Choc-Orange and Cinnamon Damper

250 grams Flour
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
8 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
5.3 fl oz Milk
3.5 fl oz Orange Juice
150 grams Organic Dark Chocolate Chips
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tbsp Butter

Recipe Directions for Choc-Orange and Cinnamon Damper

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 210 degress celcius and prepare a baking tray with either baking paper, or greased and dusted with flour.

  2. 2. Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl.

  3. 3. Rub in butter, and add chocolate and zest of an orange.

  4. 4. Add milk and mix with a knife (this makes it easier) until somewhat combined as a wet dough.

  5. 5. Place on a WELL floured surface and knead until together, and form into a rounded shape.

  6. 6. Place onto prepared try, then lightly glaze with extra milk.

  7. 7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
