A recipe I found on the back of the chocolate chips bag. I doubled the recipe so it makes about 8 dozen instead of 4 dozen.

Recipe Ingredients for Choc-oat-chip Cookies

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups butter or margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
4 tbsp milk
4 tsp vanilla extract
5 cups quick oats
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Recipe Directions for Choc-oat-chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.

  3. Beat Brown sugar, butter and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy.

  4. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

  5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

  6. Stir in oats, morsels and nuts; mix well.

  7. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheets.

  8. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies.

  9. Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

  10. makes about 95 cookies
