Choc Crunchies Recipe

Chocolate Fridge Cake - These will keep for up to a week wrapped in foil.

Recipe Ingredients for Choc Crunchies

200 g digestive biscuits
100 g butter
3 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder
50 g raisins
100 g dark chocolate

Recipe Directions for Choc Crunchies

  1. Butter a 7in sandwich tin.

  2. Seal biscuits in a strong polythene bag and bash into uneven crumbs with a rolling pin.

  3. Melt the butter and syrup in a pan.

  4. Stir in the cocoa and raisins, then thoroughly stir in the biscuit crumbs.

  5. Spoon into the tin and press down firmly

  6. Melt the chocolate in the microwave

  7. Spread over the biscuit base and chill for about 30 mins
