use chicken sausage and no extra oil. can use any pasta as long as it hold the sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for chix sausage and peppers with pasta

4 link Sun-dried Tomato
1.5 cup chopped Red Onion
2 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
2 cloves, raw Garlic
1 serving Cooking Spray All Varieties
1 cup Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
1 tbsp Parsley, Dried
1 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
6 oz Plus Penne

Recipe Directions for chix sausage and peppers with pasta

  1. cut onions thinly

  2. cut red peppers into thin slices and in half

  3. put these into large saute pan and spray with cooking spray twice

  4. cook 10 min.

  5. crush garlic and add to sausage and peppers and saute for 5 more min.

  6. start water for pasta and cook according to directions

  7. cut sausage links into rounds and add to peppers mixture after pasta goes into boiling water.

  8. When pasta is done take off heat and drain. Serve with sauce and parmeasan cheese (optional)
