Same principle as my "chinese" "chicken salad" delicious, combination of flavors and textures that would make Ming Tsai of east meets west proud Grab a fork, this is a little on the wet side...it would definitely be too wet for bread

Recipe Ingredients for "Chinese" "Tuna Salad"

150 grams tuna in water, canned, drained
1 1/2 tbsp. slivered almonds
1 stalk celery
1/10 medium onion
1/4 cup mandarin oranges in light syrup
1 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. honey

Recipe Directions for "Chinese" "Tuna Salad"

  1. drain a third cup of the mandarin oranges of their juice into a separate jar for the dressing

  2. mince the oranges, onion and celery

  3. combine the "dry" ingredients-tuna, almonds, onion, celery, oranges

  4. in the jar, add oil, vinegar, honey, mustard, garlic, soy sauce and if you like a pinch or so of cayenne, or, if you have it, wasabi

  5. shake vigorously and add to the tuna salad
