Recipe Ingredients for Chinese Style Sesame Sauce

3 serving Ground Fresh Chili Paste Sambal Oelek
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 cup Fat Free Chicken Broth
0.25 cup (8 fl oz) Water
21.2 grams Cornstarch
23.5 grams Distilled White Vinegar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oil, Sesame
2 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Chinese Style Sesame Sauce

  1. Mix all ingredients except water and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Mix cornstarch and cold water together thoroughly. Add some of the hot liquid in the saucepan to the cornstarch mixture and stir.

  3. Slowly add cornstarch mixture to saucepan and bring back to a boil while stirring constantly.

  4. Keep mixture at a boil until it reduces to desired thickness.
