Chinese Noodle Broth with Five-spice Coley

Recipe Ingredients for Chinese Noodle Broth with Five-spice Coley

552 g Fish Fillets White Natural
10 g Chinese five spice powder
1300 g vegetable stock
100 g Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodle Nests
1 red pepper, sliced
200 g Savoy Cabbage, shredded
45 g dark soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Chinese Noodle Broth with Five-spice Coley

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C, gas mark 6.

  2. Place the Coley portions on a baking tray and sprinkle both sides with five spice seasoning. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, place the stock in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the noodles, pepper and cabbage and simmer, covered, for 4-5 minutes.

  4. Stir in the soy sauce. Ladle into bowls and top with Coley.
