Chili with ramen noodles, discarding season packets, less sodium

Recipe Ingredients for Chinese Chili

1 lb 85% Lean Ground Round
1 med onion, chopped
15 oz bush's red beans, drained and rinsed
15 oz diced tomatoes
2 pkgs. ramen noodles, noodles only
2 tbsp Chili Powder
14 fl+oz Water

Recipe Directions for Chinese Chili

  1. In a 12 inch skillet brown meat with onion. Sprinkle with chili powder.

  2. Add beans and tomatoes and heat through.

  3. Add water and heat til boil.

  4. Break apart noodles and add to mixture, cover and cook for appox. 15-20 mins, or until noodles are tender. Stir occ. while cooking.

  5. Serve with shredded cheese on top

  6. Note: discarding ramen noodle season packets will lower sodium amts
