Recipe Ingredients for Chinese Beef with Peppers

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Ginger Root
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia)(186 g) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
500 grams Beef, Top Sirloin
3 envelope yields Soup, Chicken Broth
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 grams Cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Chinese Beef with Peppers

Heat oil in wok. Stir-fry onion (cut in eights), garlic (crushed), and ginger (minced) for 2 to 3 mins. Toss in peppers (thinly sliced) and stir-fry 2 to 3 mins longer. Add beef (thinly sliced) and cook until meat changes colour. Sauce: combine 4 Tbsp water with cornstarch and stir until blended. Add chicken broth and soy sauce, stir. Add to pan and cook until boils and thinkens.
