Three bean stew, intended for use in a suitable wrap. Serving size will most likely be smaller as the current serving size should be about 1 cup, which will be to large for some wraps.

Recipe Ingredients for Chillie Bean Stew

1/2 red onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tblsp chilli powder
1 tblsp cumin seed
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
61 1/2 grams salt free tomato sauce
14 1/2 oz beans, pinto
14 1/2 oz garbanzo beans
14 1/2 oz black beans
1 tblsp olive oil
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 tblsp fire roasted green chillies

Recipe Directions for Chillie Bean Stew

  1. Roast cumin seeds in pan

  2. Add onion and brown lightly

  3. Add other ingredient and simmer for 1/2 hour on low heat to meld flavors.

  4. Serve in wrap of choice.
