Chilli Con Katie Recipe

Tasty yummy chilli (my favourite food)

Recipe Ingredients for Chilli Con Katie

400 g Lean Ground Beef
1 tsp chilli powder
2 cloves garlic
400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
350 g tinned kidney beans
1 tsp sunflower oil
1 carrot
1 medium onion
250 g long grain rice

Recipe Directions for Chilli Con Katie

  1. Chop onion into chunks and grate carrot.

  2. Fry mince with oil and add onion. Continue frying for around 5 mins, or until onions begin to soften.

  3. Add crushed garlic, grated carrot and beef oxo cube.

  4. Fry until mince is browned and onions are soft.

  5. Add tin of chopped tomatoes and drained kidney beans.

  6. Boil some water in a separate pan.

  7. Add rice, cover and leave to simmer until the water has gone.

  8. Serve.
