Recipe Ingredients for Chilli Con Carne

500 g tomatos, tinned
2 1/2 cups long grain rice
375 g pork mince
1 medium onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 stock cube, beef
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp chilli powder
220 g chick peas, tinned
200 g kidney beans, tinned
215 g butter beans, tinned
285 g mushrooms, tinned

Recipe Directions for Chilli Con Carne

  1. Cook sliced onion

  2. Add mince and brown off

  3. Add tinned tomatos

  4. Add tomato puree

  5. Add stock cube

  6. Add chopped garlic

  7. Add chilli powder to taste

  8. Add chick peas

  9. Add mushrooms

  10. Add butter beans

  11. Add kidney beans

  12. Bring to the boil and simmer for 25 minutes

  13. Cook long grain rice for 10-15 minutes
