Recipe Ingredients for Chili-Turkey and Vegetable Chili Verde

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 clove Garlic
16 oz Ground Turkey, 93% Lean
4 oz Green Chilies
4 cup, chopped Kale
15 oz Garbanzo Beans
2 tablespoon Oregano
1 serving, raw Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Chili-Turkey and Vegetable Chili Verde

  1. chop garlic and onion and let sit for at least 5 minutes to enhance their health promoting benefits

  2. Heat 1 tblsp broth in a medium soup pot. Healthy saute onion in broth for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequestly. Add garlic and gorund turkey with a pinch of salt and pepeper. Continue to saute, breaking up turkey mistire and bring to a boil on high heat. Stir in kale, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add beans, simmer for another several minutes and add herbs, salt and pepper
