Recipe Directions for Chili - tt

  1. Brown ground beef and diced onion. Drain any fat. Add chili seasoning and a little water to mix.

  2. In a large soup pan, combine ground beef mixture, tomato juice, diced tomatoes, black beans, tomato sauce.

  3. Add 1 tsp sugar and black papper to taste ( I usually cover the top of the chili with black pepper).

  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and allow to simmer for at least an hour, or until it begins to thicken.

  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add uncooked spaghetti ( I usually break into thirds).

  6. Continue to cook on low until spaghetti is cooked and chili thickens to your liking.
