Recipe Ingredients for Chili Stuffed Bell Peppers

5 medium red bell peppers
16 oz ground turkey breast
2 c bell pepper, chopped
2 c canned, diced tomatoes
2 T chili powder
2 T cumin
5/8 package light shredded cheddar

Recipe Directions for Chili Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. core peppers, rinse, bake at 350 for 15 minutes

  2. brown turkey breast. with spices. crumble finely.

  3. put bell pepper and tomatoes in microwave together to heat through, then blend or puree.

  4. Add blended veggies to turkey.

  5. Take peppers out of oven and put chili mixture in them.

  6. Put a serving of cheese on top of each.

  7. Bake until cheese melts and browns.

  8. Serve
